Congratulations everyone for reaching the GD-PI stage. Below are the GD-PI experiences of some of the students who cracked the process last year(in 2011) and are currently studying at XIMB(HRM). Hope it will give everyone a fair idea of how the process was conducted last year.

GD topic- I think, therefore I can.
PI Experience- It mainly revolved around my hobbies & my Summer projects. It was short only about 15 minutes. No specific questions from academic point of view. GD topic was abstract therefore lot of discussion happened on it & in varied directions.

Tip for GD- Go with open mind & be prepared for abstract topics as XIMB GD’s are known for their abstract topics! Pitch in with good & meaningful points.

Here comes the fun part.
Topic was Quarter Life crisis is today's mid life crisis.
Got it repeated twice coz half of us were not able to get Quarter
rather heard water... And I did start on the water life crisis
Anyway, after few secs things got rectified and we moved ahead and fun filled it was. Good one!!!

me - Political family active in state n national level but their current influence reduced.

me - Told about Khajuraho n Bhedaghat n one unknown place which is remote.
R - When was MP formed?
me - Told them about my unawareness of exact dates but added that it was pre independence when central province was broken into Vidharbha added to Maha, and few odr portions which were added to other states.
L - You from orissa? Do you have Orissa domicile?
me - My mom was told n my birth place
L - Showed my form with a yes . Is it your form?
me - told yes and told them that I forgot to correct the same and would like it to be a No. And told about already informing the same. He asked you want it to be no n i confidently said yes sir n it was cut and wrote no.

me-No sir told him about the clauses and my venture.
Brought up a legal technicality and told me then it would create problems. I told him about my unawareness of this clause n if sumthn lyk dis wud be thr den for sure will leave Infy n go full on for my venture.One of the panelist by now went out on call.
L-What's an end 2 end banking solution?
me- explained in laymen terms baisc but effective types
L-What is banking solution then?
me-explained wit h ATM example.
L- About my venture why such firm?
me-To avoid the very same quarter life crisis to become a mid life crisis n laugh both of us had
