Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (also known as XIMB) is one of the premier management institutes in India. It came into existence in 1987 due to a social contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society). Since its inception in 1987, XIMB has been offering quality management education with a human face. The academic programs offered include the Post-graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), the Post-graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) (PGDM - RM), the Post-graduate Diploma in Management (Human Resource Management) (PGDM - HRM), the PGDM (Part-time) and the Fellow Programme in Management (Doctoral-Level).
The Institute also offers Certificate programs including PGCBM, PGCHRM, Executive Program for Working Professionals (EPWP) and the Post-graduate Certificate Programme in Banking and Financial Services (PGPBFS) as well as the 3 Continent Master of Global Management.
